According to people who want to eliminate the one cent piece, not even a penny. It costs more than its actual value to produce, they say.

On Saturday, J.C. Penney will make the penny worth more than the metal its printed on.

While supplies last, shoppers can buy an Arizona brand t-shirt or camisole for one cent.

Customers must make the purchase in a store, which open at 9 a.m. According to the company's website, there are six stores in the Chicago area.

The limit is one per customer. No other purchase is required.
