By John Dodge

CHICAGO (CBS) -- There is nothing quite like the smell of Garrett's popcorn.

And, on Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., customers can pick up a bag of Garrett Mix (caramel and cheese popcorn) for just 65 cents.

Listen to Garrett's Popcorn

It is part of the popcorn shop's 65th anniversary celebration.

Folks also should keep an eye out for a Garrett's trolley car that will be zipping about Chicago and handing out free bags of the cheese/caramel combo.

Garrett's opened its first small shop in 1949 at 10 West Madison street.

Fans are encouraged to join in the celebration by sharing Garrett Popcorn stories and photos on Facebook and Twitter using #Garrett65th. Two lucky fans a day this week will be randomly selected to receive a complimentary, Limited Edition 65th Anniversary Copper Tin filled with Garrett Mix.
