Dead Body Found In Gary Woods, Police Suspect Foul Play

GARY, Ind. (CBS) -- Authorities suspect foul play after a dead body was found Friday morning in a wooded area in northwest Indiana.

A work crew was cutting trees at 9:24 a.m. in the 5000 block of West 20th Place in Gary, Indiana, when workers found the body in the woods, according to a statement from the Gary Police Department.

The person was dead at the scene, police said. While the remains have not yet been identified, foul play is suspected.
