Cyclist Struck, Killed By Semi On I-80/94 Entrance Ramp
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A bicyclist apparently was riding onto an entrance ramp for the Bishop Ford Freeway early Monday when he was struck and killed.
Illinois State Police said the cyclist appeared to be riding onto the Torrence Avenue entrance ramp onto eastbound Interstate 80/94 around 5:15 a.m., when a tanker truck struck him.
Police said the cyclist died of his injuries.
Further details were not immediately available Wednesday morning.
