CVS opening pharmacy-only store in Brighton Park

CVS is opening its first pharmacy-only location in Chicago.

The grand opening and ribbon-cutting will be held in the Brighton Park neighborhood at 2628 W. Pershing Rd.

The new store is the first of about 20 pharmacy-only locations opening this year. CVS said they are aimed at increasing access to pharmacy care.

Following the grand opening, there will be giveaways for the community along with a panel on health literacy and pharmacy services.
