CVS Expanding COVID-19 Testing Program

CHICAGO (CBS)-- CVS is expanding its COVID-19 testing program.

An additional 17 test sites will be added at select drive-thru locations across the state. The sites open Friday and will use self-swab testing.

The sites will help the company's goal of processing up to 1.5 million tests per month.

Patients must register in advance and will be required to stay in their cars. Results should be available within three days.

CVS already has 40 test sites open across the state.
