Customer Tossed Live Alligator Into Wendy's Drive-Thru Window, Police Say

(CBS) -- A customer allegedly threw a three-and-a-half foot alligator into the window at one of a Wendy's restaurant in Florida, police said.

Joshua James, 23, of Jupiter, Fla., allegedly pulled up to the drive-thru for his order, got a drink and then threw the alligator into the Royal Palm Beach restaurant, according to media reports.

Police said James admitted to picking up the gator on the side of the road and bringing it to the restaurant.

He was charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession and transportation of an alligator.
