Cubs Postseason Ticket Prices Are Highest In Baseball On Secondary Market

(CBS) Cubs postseason ticket prices are far and away the highest in baseball on the secondary market, according to research from Vivid Seats.

The median ticket price for the Cubs' first two games of the National League Division Series is $350, per Vivid Seats. By comparison, the Red Sox are the next-priciest at $195.

Here's an early list of prices for guaranteed divisional-round home games:

Cubs -- $350
Red Sox -- $195
Indians -- $148
Rangers -- $115
Nationals -- $114
Dodgers -- $102

This news comes as little surprise, as the Cubs have their fans buzzing following an MLB-best 103-58-1 record in the regular season that has them pegged as World Series favorites in their quest to win their first championship since 1908.

The get-in price for the Cubs' postseason opener Friday -- against the winner of the Mets-Giants wild-card game -- is $131, per Vivid Seats. The median price for that game is $333.
