Cubs Playoff Opener Set For Friday At 8:15 P.M.

(CBS) The Cubs will open the playoffs with a primetime game.

Chicago will host Game 1 of the National League Divisional Series on Friday with a late start time of 8:15 p.m. at Wrigley Field, MLB announced Monday in revealing the early playoff game times. The Cubs will face the winner of the Giants-Mets wild-card game that will be held Wednesday night.

Game 2 will start at 7:08 p.m. Saturday at Wrigley Field. Game times for later in the series haven't yet been announced yet.

Game 1: Giants/Mets at Cubs, Friday, Oct. 7, 8:15 p.m.
Game 2: Giants/Mets at Cubs, Saturday, Oct. 8, 7:08 p.m.
