(CBS) As expected, the Cubs drew huge TV ratings in their 4-0 win against the Pirates in Wednesday's NL wild-card game.

The Cubs-Pirates game drew a 5.5 overnight rating nationally on TBS, according to sportsmediawatch.com, which marked a 34 percent increase from 2014's NL wild-card game between the Giants and Pirates on ESPN and up 45 percent over the AL wild-card game between the Royals and Athletics on TBS in 2014.

The Cubs drew a 21.8 rating in Chicago, the market's highest since the White Sox sealed their World Series in 2015, sportsmediawatch.com reported. That equates to 763,000 households, according to the Tribune. The game drew a 26.2 rating in Pittsburgh.
