Cubs' Jake Arrieta Nearly Unrecognizable After Shaving Acclaimed Beard

(CBS) In what's become a bit of an offseason tradition, Cubs right-hander Jake Arrieta shaved his acclaimed beard with Chicago's season finishing last week.

He's barely recognizable, as the photo his wife, Brittany, tweeted shows.

For comparison's sake, here's Arrieta late in the season.
