Cubs Have First Doubleheader Scheduled For June 28

(CBS) The Cubs' June 29 contest at Wrigley Field has been moved up a day, creating a day-night doubleheader against the Nationals on June 28. The team announced the move Thursday, saying Ald. Tom Tunney requested the move in an effort to avoid traffic congestion on June 29 when the Pride Parade will be held.

The first June 28 game, on a Saturday, will be at 12:05 p.m., while first pitch for the nightcap is set for 6:15 p.m. It's the Cubs' first scheduled doubleheader of the season.
