(CBS) Amid a 24-6 start that's their best since 1907 and the best in MLB since 1984, the Cubs have garnered a great deal of attention.

That now includes acclaim from one of the most timeless sports institutions.

The Cubs grace a regional cover of Sports Illustrated this week, under the headline "Just Maybe ... Right?" and a photo of the team celebrating at home plate following Javier Baez's walk-off homer Sunday. The cover story is written by the renowned Charles Pierce, who in his piece calls Wrigley Field the "happiest place on Earth right now."
