Cubs Fans Stay Optimistic Despite Losing First Two Games Of NLCS

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Cubs have fallen into an 0-2 hole against the Mets in the National League Championship Series, but Cubs fans weren't feeling deflated Sunday night, remaining true believers during rare postseason play.

Moments of euphoria were limited in Sunday's 4-1 loss to New York, but Chicago fans stayed true.

"I have faith in my Cubs, always have and always will," one woman said after watching Game 2 at the Cubby Bear.

Staring a challenging game right in the face, fans still lit up while talking about their team.

"It's the Cubs, you've got to believe till the final out," one man said. "We've got three games back at home. So, we come back to Chicago, we handle business. That's just what you've got to do."

The Cubs return to Wrigley Field for Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as Game 5 on Thursday, if necessary.
