Cubs Fans Pack City Hall To See World Series Trophy

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Cubs fans and others visited City Hall in droves on Thursday for a chance to have their pictures taken with the World Series championship trophy.

The world champion Cubs brought the Commissioner's Trophy to City Hall for its latest stop on the team's trophy tour.

Ryan Noble, of Highland Indiana, was decked out in Cubs regalia for his picture with the trophy in the lobby at City Hall.

"The hat, the Cubs jersey. I have the other Cubs shirt underneath this and stuff," he said.

All those layers of Cubs gear also helped keep him warm while he braved the frigid weather outside to get to City Hall.

"It's all worth it. I don't mind the cold, if it's snowing, tornado, whatever. I'll come out here and see it. They did it," he said.

Those who showed up early at City Hall didn't have to wait outside to see the trophy. The city made sure the line snaked back and forth inside the spacious lobby.
