CTA Suspends Service Beginning At 9:30 p.m.

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Transit Authority service will again be suspended for the night Monday night.

"At the request of public safety officials, the CTA is temporarily suspending all bus and rail service, effective at 9:30 p.m. this evening," the CTA said.

For public safety reasons amid unrest in Chicago, the suspension will be in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday.

A curfew is in effect in Chicago from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. until further notice.
