Woman fatally hit by CTA Blue Line train near Logan Square

CTA Blue Line delayed after medical emergency near Logan Square

A death investigation is underway after a woman was hit by a CTA Blue Line train near Logan Square early Friday morning. 

Chicago police confirmed the woman was hit and killed just after 4:30 a.m. in the 2600 block of North Milwaukee Avenue. 

Police are conducting a death investigation. 

According to the CTA, Blue Line trains were running with delays. 

Shuttle buses were available to provide connecting service between Grand and Jefferson Park in both directions. 

The CTA recommended using the No. 65 Milwaukee and No. 76 Diversey buses as a service alternative.
