Woman cut during fight on CTA Blue Line train

A woman was cut with a sharp object during a fight on a CTA Blue Line train in Chicago's Irving Park neighborhood early Wednesday morning.

Chicago police said around 6:30 a.m., a 38-year-old woman got into a fight with another passenger on a train at the Addison Street Blue Line stop along the Kennedy Expressway when the other person pulled out a sharp object and cut her body. 

The circumstances surrounding the incident were unknown Wednesday morning. 

Police said the victim was taken to Swedish Hospital and was listed in fair condition. 

Police were searching for the suspect on Wednesday morning. 

No arrests have been made.
