Crowing Cubs Fans Eager For October

(CBS)  From the stands to the streets to the bars, fans were celebrating into the night Friday after the Cubs formally celebrated their NL Central title.

CBS 2's Dana Kozlov spent Friday at Wrigley Field.

"I don't want to leave," one fan said after the Cubs beat the Milwaukee Brewers, setting the stage for the Wrigleyville party.  "I've been waiting for this my entire life, and it's a long life I've lived."

The Cubs actually clinched the division late Thursday when the rivals the Cardinals lost to the Giants. Thus, Friday became the de facto time to celebrate.
