CPL, Operation Warm Giving Away Coats Sunday

CHICAGO (CBS) -- On Sunday, hundreds of Chicago children will be given the gift of warmth.

Chicago Public Library and Operation Warm will give away 150 new winter coats to kids at the Chicago Lawn branch.

Also, 300 new books will be given to children to start their at home libraries.

Chicago police officers from the CAPS program will be there with games and music.

The event runs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The library will host another giveaway on Monday at the Bessie Coleman branch in Woodlawn.
