Couple Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide In Michigan City

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (STMW) -- A husband and wife were found dead by police Sunday morning in what's described as a murder-suicide.

The couple were identified as Raymond Anthony Richardson, 63, and Carrie Richardson, 61. In a statement, Michigan City, Ind. police said no one else was home during the incident in the couple's residence in the 900 block of Cooper Street, near the Indiana State Prison.

Police said evidence at the scene indicated it was a murder-suicide.

Police are asking that anyone with information about the couple contact Detective Cpl. Al Bush, 219-874-3221.

The latest deaths follow the shooting death of 24-year-old Simone Bush of Michigan City on Friday. Twenty-year-old Brian Jordan Taylor has been charged with felony murder in connection with her death. Authorities say two people were found dead Sunday at the scene of a fatal shooting.
