Couple Dead After Domestic Incident At Their Joliet Home

(JOLIET) -- A man and woman were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide early Sunday at their southwest suburban Joliet home.

A family member went to the home in the 400 block of North Bluff Street at 12:48 a.m. Sunday and found 42-year-old Angel Morgan and 49-year-old Patrick Morgan dead inside, according to Joliet police and the Will County coroner's office.

Angel Morgan suffered multiple gunshot wounds, while Patrick Morgan died of a single gunshot wound, according to the coroner's office.

Police said it appears Patrick Morgan shot his wife and himself. A handgun was found at the scene.

Final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date, pending the final outcome of police, autopsy and toxicological results, according to the corner's office. Joliet police are investigating.
