Cornerback Tramon Williams Signs With Browns

(CBS) Cornerback Tramon Williams is leaving Green Bay and the NFC North altogether. Williams agreed to a three-year contract with the Cleveland Browns, per a report from ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Williams spent the last eight seasons with the Packers, snaring 28 interceptions over that span. The Browns lost cornerback Buster Skrine in free agency to the Jets, so Williams arrival will help offset that loss.

The Bears have a need at the cornerback position, so with Williams now signed with the Browns, their options are starting to dry up in the free agent market. Some top options remaining on the market are Patrick Robinson, Sterling Moore and Rashean Mathis.
