Cops: Man Shot To Death In Backyard Of Gage Park Home

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was discovered with fatal gunshot wounds to the head and body in the backyard of a Gage Park neighborhood home early Saturday on the Southwest Side, according to Chicago Police.

Officers found the 27-year-old about 12:15 a.m. in the 3500 block of West 57th Street, and he died at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner's office did not have information on the death. Area Central detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
