Copa America Match Is Still Set For Solider Field

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Although there is a strong threat of severe weather this evening, the Copa America soccer match is still on for 7 p.m. at Solider Field.

The semifinal match pits Colombia against Chile.

"We fully intend to play the game tonight," Soldier Field spokesman Luca Serra said. "However lighting, hail and dangerous wind could cause the game to be halted or postponed. If severe weather should happen we will evacuate the stands and tell people to get into sheltered areas.

"Bring a poncho and please tell people that backpacks and umbrellas are prohibited at the stadium."
