Construction Worker Injured In Accident At Wrigley Field

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A construction worker was injured at Wrigley Field on Friday, when pipes fell on her as she was working in the basement.

According to the Chicago Fire Department, the woman suffered injuries to her face, neck, and back when the pipes fell on her around 9:40 a.m.

The woman, who is in her mid 30s, was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

Work at Wrigley Field this offseason include renovations to the iconic marquee and construction of a new office building across the street.
