Concrete Falls On Kennedy Expressway From Metra Bridge In Jefferson Park

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Concrete was seen falling from a Chicago railroad bridge Wednesday morning.

It happened just after 10:30 Wednesday morning at I-90/94 West (northbound Kennedy) near Milwaukee Avenue in Jefferson Park.

According to IDOT "concrete deterioration of the Metra bridge platform caused pieces of debris to fall on the Interstate below."

The right two lanes of I-90/94W northbound Kennedy near Milwaukee were closed. Around 11:12 a.m. The left two lanes were shut down.
