Fire breaks out at ComEd substation in Hoffman Estates, Illinois
A fire broke out at a ComEd substation in suburban Hoffman Estates early Wednesday morning.
Large flames were seen shooting from the facility off the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway.
ComEd officials confirmed the substation fire is not impacting customers at this time.
Local fire officials have not released details on the cause of the fire.
