Colts QB Andrew Luck Out 2-6 Weeks With Lacerated Kidney

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is expected to miss two to six weeks after sustaining a lacerated kidney and torn abdominal muscle in the fourth quarter of Sunday's victory over Denver.

Coach Chuck Pagano told a small group of reporters on a conference call that Luck was sore after the game and felt worse Monday afternoon. He was then sent for tests.

That will make 40-year-old Matt Hasselbeck back in the starting job for the foreseeable future.

The Colts (4-5) have a one-game lead over Houston in the AFC South. They are off this weekend.
