Clark The Cub's Brand Recognition Is Lacking, At Least For Jeopardy Contestants

(CBS) Apparently, Clark the Cub doesn't have much brand recognition nationally.

Final Jeopardy on Thursday had a Chicago sports theme, posing the following clue for contestants:

"For the first time in almost 100 years, this pro team has an official mascot, a bear named Clark."

It completely stumped all three contestants, with a few hilarious responses for those of us in the Chicago area. The answers:

The Chicago Bears.

The Portland T -- apparently "Trail Blazers" was to difficult to recall.

And the Bruins.

The Cubs unveiled Clark the Cub in early 2014. How anyone could forget about a pant-less mascot whose debut caused plenty of criticism and laughs is beyond us.
