City Bricklayer Fatally Injured While Working On Northwest Side
(CBS) – A 41-year-old city employee was fatally injured Monday afternoon while working on Chicago's Northwest Side.
The fatality occurred at Sauganash and Keeler around 1 p.m. Killed was Konrad Tucharski, a bricklayer for the Department of Water Management, a spokesperson said. Tucharski had been working on a sewer-placement project.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
