Cicero, Harvey Unwilling To Host Chief Keef Concert

(CBS) -- Chicago Rapper Chief Keef had a concert scheduled this weekend in Cicero - but Cicero has forced the venue to cancel - and now an alternate location has also refused to roll out the welcome mat.

Chief Keef is having trouble finding a home.

He's just been evicted from his rented house in Highland Park and he had a concert scheduled in Cicero on Saturday.

"The police all week have been getting information that there was going to be some violence at the concert," said Cicero spokesman Ray Hanania.

Hanania says Cicero asked the Olympic Theatre to cancel the concert.

The Olympic Theatre website says: "Event has been moved," - and when you call the phone number it lists, they tell you it's been moved to a theatre in Harvey.

But Harvey Spokesman Sean Howard says Harvey is not willing to host Chief Keef.

"He will not perform in the city of Harvey."

Both Harvey and Cicero say they will have police outside the two venues in question - just to make sure there's no trouble, with or without Chief Keef.
