The Christkindlmarket Market Officially Opens For The Holiday Season

CHICAGO (CBS)-- The Christkindlmarket is now officially open for the holiday season.

The market took weeks to build, but the big day is finally here.

Guests were lined up in Daley Plaza ahead of the opening Friday, ready for roasted almonds, boot mugs and hot chocolate.

The Christkindlmarket will stay open until Christmas Eve.
