Chris Coghlan Gets Start In LF, Will Bat 6th For Cubs
(CBS) The Cubs will start Chris Coghlan in left field and bat him sixth against the Cardinals in Game 1 of the NLDS on Friday. As expected, veteran catcher David Ross will also catch left-hander Jon Lester, as Miguel Montero will sit.
Coghlan didn't play in the Cubs' win against the Pirates in the wild-card game. Schwarber will remain in right field after moving there for Wednesday's game at the quirky PNC Park.
