Chicago First Alert Weather: 5 to 8 foot waves

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Temperatures will be mild on Wednesday.

Clouds linger for the start of the day as skies give way to more afternoon sunshine.

A beach hazard statement will remain in place through early Thursday morning.

A gradual warmup is expected through the end of the week.

Highs reach the 90s for Labor Day weekend.
