Chicago's The Top Spot For Pizza In The Country... Sort Of

This oughta rankle a few feathers (particularly New York's) -- Chicago has been ranked the top spot for pizza in the U.S.

This is according to TripAdvisor, which stated, "Travelers come from all corners of the country to sink their teeth into Chicago's deep dish, the big cheese of pizza destinations..."

TripAdvisor based their "Top Spots For Pizza" list on the reviews of TripAdvisor travelers. According to their press release, they considered both quality and quantity.

With this in mind, it's no surprise that Chicago, the third biggest city in the U.S., would rank high.

But number one? Go us!

Other top spots include New York City, New Haven and Orlando. See the full top 10 list here.

But! There is a snag. Even though Chicago was the top city, it didn't exactly nab any top restaurant spots for pizza in the country, oddly enough.

In fact, not a single Chicago restaurant makes the top ten list, despite the city being number one overall.

That's definitely weird, but I'll take whatever we can get!
