Cowabunga dude! The teenage mutant ninja turtles are back in a brand new live action adventure starring Megan Fox and Will Arnett. Take the kids to AMC Loews Theatre on North Michigan Avenue for a night of action, laughs and plenty of popcorn. Real D 3D showings are at 1:30, 4:00, 6:30 and 9:00 p.m. Regular 2D showings are at 2:30, 5:00, 7:30 and 10:00 p.m. Ticket prices vary based on time and 2D vs 3D showings.

Check out DePaul Art Museum's exhibit "Fires Will Burn: Politically Engaged Art From The Permanent Collection." This exhibit features a wide range of art throughout periods of political oppression. Diego Rivera, John Wilson and Gerda Meyer Bernstein are just a few of the artists who have pieces on display. The museum is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and admission is free.

Outside of Soldier Field, what could be a better place to watch a Bears game than Mike Ditka's Restaurant? Watch Cutty and the gang take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in their second tune up before the regular season kicks off next month. The game starts at 7:00 p.m. so show up early to make sure you get a table.
See Miranda Lambert At The First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre

Country music star Miranda Lambert brings a little southern charm to the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre on August 15th. Plenty of seats are still available to see the three time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year along with her opening act, Justin Moore. The concert starts at 7:00 p.m. and tickets range from $20-$265.
