Chicagoans Showing Blackhawks Pride All Over City

CHICAGO (CBS) -- No matter where you are in the city, Blackhawks fans are showing their pride for the Stanley Cup champions in many ways, reports CBS 2's Suzanne Le Mignot.

Blackhawks fans Andrew Jahnke and his three-year-old son Ascher are thrilled about the win.

"Let's just hope they can keep all the great players that they have and do it again next year," Andrew Jahnke said. "Let's do it one more time next year. Right!"

Those who didn't have the team's winning gear are stocking up at the United Center, the home of the Stanley Cup champions.

"I found this at the United Center," Toni Ferrari said. "I couldn't believe it! Everywhere! Sold out! People are going crazy!"

At Third Rail Tavern on the Near West Side, many were reliving the historic moment, watching the game again.

"It's nice to have a dynasty back in Chicago again since the Bulls had that in the 90s," said Ben Miller.

Punky's Pizza and Pasta in Bridgeport is showing their love for the Blackhawks in every slice. Vincent Scarlata says the ingredients for his Blackhawks pizza is, "Half of it is cheese, half of it is olives and tricolor peppers, red, yellow, green for the feathers."

The restaurant says it sold 50 of the pizzas during last night's game.
