Chicago Weather: Temperatures Rising To Near 90 Degrees Over Weekend

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The big weather story for the weekend is the heat -- but it's a dry heat.

Saturday morning will be cool early, but the temperature will quickly rise to near 90 degrees. There is a slight chance for some showers as a weakened front moves over southern Wisconsin on Sunday afternoon. The 90s will continue into next week.

There will be plenty of sunshine both Saturday and Sunday.

While Chicago's beaches are closed, the water temp in Lake Michigan is 81 degrees.
