Chicago Weather: Windy And Mild Wednesday

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Warm winds on Wednesday will pull high temperatures into the middle 60s.

Scattered showers are possible, especially in the morning.

With the unseasonably mild air mass in place, we could start the day with record warmth. Lows will range from the low to mid 50s.

The record high minimum for Chicago is 52 degrees set in 1876. We will probably meet or beat that record in the morning.

A rain chance for Wednesday is running at about 30 percent. Winds could gust 30-40 mph throughout the day and evening.

The better chances for downpours and thunderstorms Thursday morning. The high for Thursday is 60.
