Chicago Weather: Clearing Overnight

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Sprinkles and flurries taper off over the next hour or so and skies clear overnight.

It was so windy and chilly on Thursday due to the tight pressure gradient between strong low pressure over the northeast and high pressure near the northern plains.

That strong pull of cold air and high winds kept the feels like temperature in the 30s much of the day.

With clearing taking place after midnight, cold air will settle across our area.

It will be Sunny and breezy for Friday. Then rain arrives Saturday afternoon and lingers for Easter Sunday.
