Chicago Weather: Warm Temperatures, Scattered Showers Possible Monday Evening
CHICAGO (CBS)-- As Chicagoans enjoy temperatures in the 70s, there is a chance of scattered rain showers and storms Monday evening.
According to CBS 2 meteorologist Mary Kay Kleist, Aurora and western areas are under the highest storm threat with wind gusts up to 50-miles-per-hour. Other areas can expect scattered showers throughout the night.

Kleist said storms are moving into DeKalb county by 5 p.m. She said storms are moving east at 40 miles-per-hour.

CBS 2 meteorologist Megan Glaros said showers may continue into Tuesday and temperatures are expected to drop to the 60s into Wednesday.
On Thursday, temperatures will rise to the 70s and continue into the weekend.
