Chicago Weather: Warm And Breezy, With Scattered Showers And Storms This Afternoon

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Warm breezes send temperatures into the 80s today, with scattered showers and a few storms developing this afternoon.

Showers and storms are expected to develop after 3 p.m., though most parts of the Chicago area will stay dry.

There's a better chance for rain and thunderstorms overnight. The risk for severe storms is low, but not zero.

The strongest storms could pack a punch ,with gusty wind and small hail.

We'll dry out early Wednesday, and sunshine will return with highs in the 80s.

Rain chances increase again Thursday into Friday, as temperatures crash for the end of the week, with highs in the 60s on Thursday and Saturday, and only the upper 50s on Friday.
