Chicago Weather: 2 Rounds Of Severe Storms Possible Sunday

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two rounds of severe storms are possible on Sunday.

The first comes in the early afternoon, then another in the late afternoon and evening.

All modes of severe weather are possible – wind, hail, flooding, and even tornadoes – and all locations have a chance of severe storms. But they will start west and move east.

There are two rounds of potential storms. The first comes in the mid-afternoon – as early as noon, but more likely between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

There is threat of wind and hail, and tornadoes are possible.

The second round comes in the evening – as early as 5 p.m., but likely between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. For that round, there is a wind threat and flooding is possible.

For Saturday night, it will be mostly clear with a low of 66.

A few showers may linger into early Monday, and then it will be cooler and drier for a few days.
