CHICAGO (CBS)-- Below average temperatures are on the way, but first, rain returns to the forecast.
Wednesday's temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible in the evening.
Temperatures will cool down beginning Thursday when the high temperatures will be in the low 80s.
Friday and Saturday will be dry days, but the chance for scattered storms returns to the forecast on Sunday.
