Chicago Weather: Cold Front On The Way

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Tuesday is our last warm day with highs in the mid-70s, following a low of 64 as it turns cloudy on Monday night.

CBS 2 Meteorologist Mary Kay Kleist expects we will again break a record for the daytime high. The old record is 71 degrees.

A powerful cold front will bring gusty winds all day ahead of the front. The National Weather Service may issue a wind advisory.

The best storm threat is 4 to 8 p.m. as the front gets closer. There is a damaging wind threat at that time, and we can't rule out an isolated tornado.

Cold air rushes into our area behind the front for Veterans Day. The high for Wednesday is only 49.
