CHICAGO (CBS) -- Heavy downpours and embedded thunderstorms arrive with our next wave from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. Friday.
A Flash Flood Watch for our southern counties until Saturday morning. The highest rain totals expected in our viewing area are expected in those counties.
Overall, 2 to 5 inches of rain are expected through Sunday, with isolated 6-inch totals possible.
This system stalls in place keeping our weekend wet. Even well into next week, the pattern holds.
The low for Friday night is 71. For Friday, the high climbs to 80.
