Chicago Weather: Cold, Windy Day Ahead

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Plummeting temperatures are causing a cold and blustery day.

A Wind Advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. Wind gust could reach over 40 miles-per-hour.
High temperatures will be in the 40s, which is over 10 degrees below average for this time of year. By the evening, temperatures will drop to the 30s.
Tuesday will be a sunny, but cold day with temperatures in the 40s.
Cold temperatures are expected to linger throughout the rest of the week.
