Chicago Weather: Many Hours Of Cold Rain

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The low for Thursday night is 36 as it turns cloudy.

Look for a cloudy start on Friday with a few light showers possible by the afternoon. The high for Friday is 44.

Steady, cold rain will dominate as the sun sets.

Cold and raw conditions will linger through the night and all day Saturday. Some rain could change over to snow Saturday, especially later in the day.

Temperatures during the day Saturday will be running above freezing, with a forecast high of 42. Most areas will have steady, cold rain.

Gusty winds from the north and northeast will drive waves Saturday 10-14 feet. A Lakeshore Flood Watch is in effect from Friday night through Saturday night.
