CHICAGO (CBS) -- On Wednesday afternoon, temperatures were in the mi- and upper 50s with gusty southerly winds ahead of the approaching cold front.

Stray flurries or sprinkles are possible Thursday in the chilly, northwest wind flow – a blustery holiday.
